The Swain School will host Dr. Michael "Mykee" Fowlin on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at 7 p.m., at a presentation that is free and open to the public (suitable for 5th grade and older). "You Don't Know Me Until You Know Me" is Dr. Fowlin's one-man performance, which will deal with such issues as race, discrimination, violence prevention, suicide, gender equality, and homophobia, and strategies to address them. "Mykee" takes on the personas of several different characters, includng a high school athlete dealing with his sexual identity, a young adult using a wheelchair, and a student with behavior challenges, among others.
