South Mountain Equinox Night Hike
Ages: 0 and up

Features:
An equinox occurs when the sun crosses the celestial equator – the imaginary line in the sky above the Earth’s Equator – from north to south. In the Northern Hemisphere, the September equinox is known as the Autumnal Exquinox, however in the Southern Hemisphere, it’s the Vernal Equinox. The same equinox begins opposite seasons! Join us to celebrate the sun’s passage with a pleasant hike through the woods of South Mountain Preserve.
