Who: All ages welcome, minors must be accompanied by an adult.

What: After learning about invasive species of local concern, we’ll tackle an Earth Day project designed to control a plant invader at Pool Wildlife Sanctuary.

Why: According to the United States Department of Agriculture, invasive species are plants, animals, or pathogens that are non-native to the ecosystem under consideration and whose introduction causes or is likely to cause harm. These invaders are introduced by human impact and, once established, are extremely difficult to eradicate.

Where: Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, Emmaus.
