Aspiring artists aged 9 through 14 will make their own needle-felted bag with textile artist Kim Tanzos. First, take a tour of the special exhibition Paul Harryn: Essence of Nature; then head into the classroom to create some nature-inspired art.
Participants will apply three layers of different materials onto their bags, including printing with textile paint, needle felting with wool, and also stitching. At the end of the workshop they will be able to take home their handmade art. Call 610-432-4333 ext. 132 to register.
