Saturday, December 5th at 7:OO pm at Grace Community Church, Minesite Rd., Allentown, the Nyack College School of Music invites you to attend "Carol and Candlelight", a concert of Advent and Christmas music performed by students from Nyack College, located in Nyack, NY. Nyack's English Handbell Choir, Women's Chorale, and Brass Ensemble, under the direction of Professor Jennifer Scott and Dr. Glenn Koponen, will perform seasonal music ranging from classical to contemporary, from plainsongs to spirituals. Holiday favorites from Germany, France and England are prominently featured, and the program concludes with a deeply moving candlelight ceremony, a trademark of the tour since 1948. The concert is open to all, with no admission fee, but a freewill offering will be taken to defray the cost of the tour. Please join us as we usher in the Holiday Season with warmth and holiday cheer.
