Visit the Burnside Plantation for a special presentation each month on the Third Saturday of Each month (Spring-Fall). Each month features a different theme/lesson Enjoy down-on-the-farm fun with the young ones in your life. Events emphasize hands-on learning in a historical context.
April 12: Chicks! You and your little one can spend some time touching and petting baby chicks and their moms. “Chick” us out at the New Back to your Roots Hands On Activity Center at Burnside Plantation! Hands on activities and crafts include make your own Peep, Egg and Bird Matching Game, Colonial dress-up and Much Much More! See and Touch! This is a unique opportunity for children and grown-ups to see and touch baby chicks and their moms.
April 18: Bunnies! Make that cute image a reality in the Back to Your Roots Activity Center at Burnside Plantation! See and Touch! Come and join this celebration of new life! This is a unique opportunity for children (and grown-ups) to see and touch real live BUNNIES!
