Wild in the Parks: Park Clean Up @ Trout Creek Park; Sunday, 4/14/19, 11am-1pm
In honor of Earth Day, we will clean up an important part of our Lehigh River Watershed. Participants are welcome to lend a hand anytime between 11 AM and 1 PM. Refreshments and clean up supplies provided.
Wild in the Parks: Turtles & Birds @ Cedar Beach Park; Sunday, 5/26/19, 12-1:30pm
We’re bringing education turtles and birding equipment to Lake Muhlenberg at Cedar Beach Park for an informal, pop-up conservation education event.
Wild in the Parks: Summer Solstice: Yoga & Hike @ Keck Park; Sunday,6/23/19, 11am-12:30pm
Immerse yourself in the rhythms of nature and come celebrate the Summer Solstice. On one of the longest days of the year, we will be enjoying a short hike around Keck Park followed by an energizing, all levels yoga practice led by Pratyush Sinha Foundation. All ages welcome. Trail Difficulty Level – Moderate. Use main parking lot off of S Carlisle St/River Dr, Allentown, PA 18109.
Wild in the Parks: Fireflies & Nighttime Wildlife @ Trexler Memorial Park; Sunday, 7/21/19, 7:30-8:30pm
Enjoy warm summer nights with a nocturnal wildlife presentation and a family-friendly firefly game at this charming and vibrant park. All ages welcome. Location: Springhouse Road, Allentown, PA 18103.
