Join us at 5 pm on Friday, April 27th for the opening of our newest exhibition, “Unearthed: Moravian Archaeology” which will guide visitors through over 270 years of Moravian History on the Ephrata Tract where the first house of Nazareth was built in 1740. The Ephrata Tract has been in continuous use since the mid-18th-century serving, among others, as a nursery, a seminary, and a refuge during the French and Indian War! The exhibition will feature artifacts, illustrations, maps and digital guides about our archaeological dig. Discover objects from the 18th through the 20th century and learn how they inform our understanding of the past, its people and the way they lived their lives. Unearthed: Moravian Archaeology has been years in the making and we’re so excited to share our findings with you! The event will be held from 5:00-6:30 pm, but stop by anytime during the event!
