I attended Family Camp from ages 2-15yrs. It was the only vacation my family of 8 took every year and we always looked forward to it: hiking, playing in the pool, singing around a camp fire, great food, digging into the Word, amazing fellowship. I went on to work on Summer Staff, and now as a program director and member of the board. The 1 word I always use to describe Twin Pines is "HOME". As soon as I turn the corner and see the sign welcoming me to the camp, I feel a sense of joy and peace. I have witnessed the Holy Spirit move in mighty ways - at a camp fire where campers accept the Lord as their personal Savior, during one-on-one counseling where a camper makes a life changing decision, during a women's retreat where scripture and sessions made an impact on many... Twin Pines offers a wide variety of summer programs to suit many ages and areas of interest. Summer camp is so much fun, but more importantly, every camper hears the gospel and is given an opportunity to start and/or strengthen their relationship with God. The friendships I've made through my experiences at Twin Pines are cherished and life long. I love Twin Pines and encourage all to look into their summer camp programs, as well as year-round retreats....more
