Features:
PARENT/CHILD CLASSES: Parents are in the water participating with children.
PRE-SCHOOL LESSONS: All pre-school classes are taught without a parent in the water.
PRIVATE LESSONS: Ages 3 and older. Private and semi-private swim lessons consists of
30-minute lessons.
SCHOOL AGE PROGRESSIVE SWIM LESSONS: 6 years - 12 years Each skill level builds on the preceding level.
AMERICAN RED CROSS CLASSES: A certified Red Cross instructor will teach Lifesaving, Basic First Aid and/or CPR to a minimum of 10 participants per class.
AMERICAN RED LIFEGUARD COURSE: Upon successful completion, participants will be certified with
Professional CPR, First Aid, AED and Lifeguarding. Pre-requisites: 300 yard swim and a 10 lb. brick retrieval. Must attend all classes to obtain certification. No make up classes. Must be 15 years of age by
the date of the last class.
AQUATICS FOR SCOUTS
The Family YMCA Aquatics staff is available to assist Scout
Troops in earning aquatic awards. Troops will spend one hour
with an Aquatics Instructor working towards badge requirements
followed by one hour of free swim. A minimum of four scouts
