Such a nice park! Paved bike/walk/blade paths. Excellent for a run with a jogging stroller (distance is clearly marked- 1 mile loop) or an easy ride for a learning child. Great open space, fields for playing, running soccer etc. Huge clean sandbox full of fun toys and trucks for digging.

Beautiful park across from the entrance to the Velodrome. Great spot to bring the kids! There are two tracks for running, biking, rollerblading, etc. and a small loop around the sandbox perfect for tricycles :) There is a HUGE sandbox full of toys and some rocks to climb on with benches and shaded picnic tables surrounding it. Love this park with the kids! Teaching them to use a two wheeler before it gets too cold outside.

Sandbox has toys appropriate for toddlers, no need to bring your own.
Sign posted at parking lot entrance says Nature trails closed due to storm damage. (10/13/13)
