Pathogens: Connecting the Microorganism Dots
Focus on the role microorganisms play in daily life – in health maintenance, causing disease and in genetic engineering applications, as well as how antibiotics and vaccines do their job. Students will use microscopes in college labs.

Natural Disasters: A Geologist’s View into the Hazards of Our Planet
Learn the causes and how to predict and mitigate earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, hurricanes and more. Learn the science behind the disaster with hands-on activities.
