Sibshops are energetic 3 hour workshops that are open to siblings age 8 - 13 of children with special needs. They focus on the facts that siblings have much to offer their brothers and sisters with special needs. The program involves games, discussion activities and offers information to the participants.
At Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Pediatric Unit, Sibshops are organized and run by a team of professionals who understand the impact a child’s illness can have on a family, and who love working with kids.
Sibshops are held on the second Saturday of each month, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., at the Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital Pediatric Unit, 2855 Schoenersville Rd., Bethlehem. The cost to attend is $5 per session, per child. Lunch is included.
