The National Museum of Industrial History is celebrating an icon of industrial history on March 17th from 11am to 4pm with its first ever “Rosie the Riveter Day”. Attendees will be able to hear from women who worked at Bethlehem Steel, see a Rosie the Riveter documentary, and take selfies with Rosie the Riveter, and take part in a children’s coloring activity. This is a fun event for the whole family, and included in regular museum admission! The full schedule of events is below: 11am -12pm: Meet the Experts: Women in Steel Discussion panel with Steelworkers Archives 12:30pm Commemorative “Rosie” bush planting Taking place on the NMIH Plaza 1:30pm and 3:30pm: The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter documentary screenings Taking place in the NMIH Education Center 12pm-3pm Youth Activities Meet Rosie the Riveter, color a piece of history, and take a “We Can Do It” selfie in the NMIH lobby!
