Fall is the season for picking apples! Rodale Institute is proud to offer the option for families to pick their own apples in our organic orchard. Our farm boasts many varieties, including some that are not commercially available! We expect to have organic Liberty and Empire apples, in addition to a few unnamed varieties. All varieties are perfect for eating fresh, baking, and preserving. We will provide the baskets (free to use in the orchard or purchase to keep), apple pickers, and carts. Apples are first come, first serve. There will also be plenty of delicious organic treats, live music, and activities for children. Parking and Festival are right on the farm.
