Come enjoy baby farm animals, children’s show, games, hands-on activities, refreshments & more.

Two weekends of fun for the entire family as Quiet Valley comes alive with baby farm animals. This is a unique opportunity for children and the young-at-heart to see and touch a variety of baby farm animals.  Watch baby chicks hatching from their eggs and feel the soft fur of the baby bunnies. Don’t miss seeing the new lambs with their woolly fleece and the frisky baby goats. The adorable baby piglets with their funny little noses charm everyone. Get to know our workhorses, Gunther and Wilhelm. Meet Janie, our mule.
Children always love the hay jump in the barn, and they can play some of the traditional games enjoyed by past generations. There is a children’s show daily a 1 p.m.

This year’s hands-on area is the Sheep Shed where our young visitors can try carding wool, weaving on a frame loom and making a craft using felt or sheep’s wool.

Everyone will enjoy a ride in the wagon pulled by our Clydesdale draft horses. The wagon ride takes about 20 minutes and takes you down an old railroad bed from the 1800’s to the pond where ice is harvested in the winter. Pony rides are an annual Frolic favorite. Pony and Wagon Rides are an extra charge and are weather permitting.

Sheep Shearing will take place Saturday May 21 beginning at 10:30am. The Pocono Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center’s wildlife presentations will take place on Saturday May 28 at 11:30am and 1:30pm. One Room School presentations take place both Sundays. The outdoor brick bake oven is in operation both weekends. There is plenty of hearty homemade food and sweet treats for all! So come and bring the whole family.

(All funds raised support the mission of the non-profit farm museum) [no pets, no smoking]

My husband and I took our daughter to the festival in May. It was wonderful and perfect for children of all ages. I would highly recommend this event!
