Neffs UCC Preschool has been providing quality preschool programming for 25 years in a learning atmosphere in which each child feels secure, loved, and accepted. We help our students grow physically, academically, and socially through developmentally appropriate practices that align with the Pennsylvania Early Learning Standards. Our small teacher to student ratio ensures individualized attention. Teachers and assistant teachers are certified in CPR and Safe Child Policies are in place to maintain the children’s safety at all times. My son is now in the Pre-K class, having attended here since he was 3, and this school continues to be everything we could ask for. They utilize core curriculum so he is more than ready for kindergarten, centers and purposeful play keep him interested and engaged, and he loves the science experiments. He has even come home knowing famous artists and some sign language! ALL of the staff is genuinely caring of and invested in all the children, and the director is extremely knowledgeable and communicative. ...more

I searched for a long time before finding Neffs UCC preschool. My daughter has some challenging issues and I was really nervous about this transition and what would happen while she was there. I AM IN LOVE WITH THE STAFF! Not only did they help my 4 yo transition to being away from mommy she has started to thrive there! This is our second school year and I wish she could stay forever. Mrs. Puia and Mrs. Henne are so kind and gentle in their approach and attitude even I felt immediately at ease. My daughter loves to go to school now and often plays school at home role playing her teachers and classmates.

The director and staff have been very welcoming to therapists and evaluators too. A big sigh of relief and a high five from this sometimes critical mom! Highly recommended!...more

We LOVE Neffs UCC Preschool! My preteens went years ago, and now my 3 yr. old attends, and it's awesome! They have always had an incredibly caring staff and wonderful programs, but the recent curriculum changes have really pushed them forward! Neffs covers academic, physical, social, and emotional development areas, all while keeping it fun for the kids. The classes are small enough that kids can get one-on-one attention when needed, but large enough for great group activities and social interaction. The staff is knowledgeable and up on current methods, and always so easy to talk to. We are all so happy!...more
