Reading of the Declaration of Independence by the Bachmann Players, followed by an Honor Guard Salute from American Legion Post 215. Afterwards, take a guided tour of the house, then enjoy the sounds of Patriotic music from the Antebellum Marine Band. The band has a repertoire spanning the beginning of band music in the US and up to the first decade of the 20th century at the height of the Sousa era. George Taylor was one of the 56 signers of the Declaration of Independence. The Home, listed as a National Historic Landmark and on the National Register of Historic Properties.
