Located on the corner of Cedar Crest and Tilghman, First Pres has been providing a nurturing environment and superior developmental early childhood education for more than 40 years. Our programs are for children 2 years 7 months to 5 years old. Lunch Bunch and Stay & Play programs are available for extended care options.

My family has had the most wonderful experience with First Presbyterian Church of Allentown Preschool. Having had one child progress through the different class offerings (Younger 4 year old class, and Pre-K class currently) leading up to entering Kindergarten, I can say whole-heartedly that First Pres Preschool has exceeded any expectations we had for a preschool, and thus have our second child enrolled for next school year! They offer the most nurturing, educationally focused, and fun environment that has fostered a genuine love of learning in my little one. The staff is wonderful to work with and truly passionate about early childhood education. The facility/classrooms are cozy and support so many different types of activities such as pretend play, art, individual instruction, group circle time, gym, outdoor exploring, the list goes on! The extended care options of Lunch Bunch and Stay and Play are an added bonus allowing for extra socialization and creative learning/play opportunities. I would highly recommend First Presbyterian Church of Allentown Preschool to any parent looking for a supportive and engaging early childhood education option....more
