My son has attended ALC for almost 2 years and is currently at their new (and AMAZING) Trexlertown locational the preschool program. It astounds me how much he learns each and every day. The staff and teachers are so attentive, helpful, and truly care about each and every child. They’ve been so great helping us through some difficult transitions. Their lesson plans are creative and thoughtful with excellent lessons to take away. I’d recommend ALC to anyone!...more

My daughter goes to preschool at ALC in Trexlertown and she absolutely loves it! She always talks about her teachers and her friends, and how much she enjoys her "new school". The facility is new, spacious and has everything for the kids. My daughter especially loves the mat room where the kids can exercise and burn their energy. As a parent, I also appreciate the family events that the center organizes outside of their regular program - makes us feel truly a part of a close community....more

My daughter attends PreK at Active Learning Center- Trexlertown. She absolutely loves it! Her teachers and all the other staff are wonderful! The facility is brand new and clean. We always know what is going on and get updates daily with pictures, communication is great! I am confident that my child is learning, having fun, and safe at ALC! Thank you!!!!!

We have been going to the ALC facilities for 8 years now. Our experience has always been a great one. The facilities are clean, the staff is friendly and administration is very professional. It is a great organization.

Our ALC experience for our 9 yo school age son and 14 month toddler has been an altogether positive experience. Daily activities for toddler are incredible and the kindness of his teachers is visible in their interactions with him and his classmates. We are happy with the opportunities that our older son is given before and after his school day, as well. Highly recommend ALC for families seeking childcare!

Active Learning Center in Palmer has been a life saver for me and my children. It's always so hard finding a place with caring caregivers who will treat your children as their own. ALC has done exactly that. My children run in every morning excited to learn and play. All the extracurricular activities such as karate and gymnastics have been amazing as well. Active learning center in Palmer is fantastic. They are super reliable, especially in the winter with snow days. They are open on days that other centers are typically closed. I love it and my daughter is happy here. We tried a childcare center in the past and my daughter was always sad when I dropped her off and happy to leave at the end of the day. She also seemed to get sick constantly. Since we have been coming to Active learning center on most days she is happy when I drop her off and sometimes does not want to leave. She’ll tell me that she wants to go to daycare when we’re home or that she wants to play with her friends. The teachers are all great. They know your name and treat you like a friend. I smiled when I walked in to pick up my daughter one time and heard the teacher tell her that she loved her as she gave her a goodbye hug. It’s great to know that the staff at ALC actually care about the kids. My daughter has learned so much since being at ALC. She comes home singing songs, talking about the things the teachers did for her, and about her friends. She did a gymnastics course, she has weekly karate, and she is currently enrolled in the soccer class. She will soon be moving into a preschool classroom and I will certainly miss all the teachers, but I am confident that her new teachers will be great as well. 😊👍...more

As stressful and overwhelming it is a parent to find the best place for your little one to spend the day when you are at work, I am beyond happy about my decision to send my son to Active Learning Center in Palmer, PA. Over this past school year, I have watched four year old son grow in his social skills, his vocabulary, his interest in stories and characters, his patience, and his overall appreciation for learning and being with other kids. His teacher is unbelievable, she is so patient and kind. The director, Megan, who I know personally, is one of the best people I know...always willing to help and see her ALC students succeed. The staff has been nothing but helpful and cooperative with me when I need them. My son LOVES going to school and nothing makes me happier than hearing him eagerly tell me about his day when I pick him up. I highly recommend Active Learning Center, it is the best decision that I made....more

My son has been at ALC Palmer for the past five months, and we are very pleased with his education, and care. He has learned so much in his short time here, in both the older toddler and Pre-School rooms. His vocabulary has grown tremendously, and I'm impressed by his manners (which are definitely being reinforced at school). We're grateful he loves his school and has so much fun learning.
