Access Services is an agency providing behavioral support for children and adults with disabilities and their families.
The agency provides supports for families who have children, teens or young adults that are experiences behavioral or emotional challenges. The agency will conduct an evaluation of the individual and make a determination about what services (if any) are needed. Wrap around services, commonly referred to as TSS or BSC services, provide staff to a child/teen or young adult in their community/school/work life and support that individual in theirability to function in daily routines and manage their behavior or emotional challenges.
Qualified families who spend much of their time caring for loved ones with special needs may be able tp obtain care for their loved one in order to get some much needed personal time. These caregivers often need a break for the physical and emotional demands that come along with such a special and demanding job. Respite care services can provide a qualified individual to care for your loved one in your home or at the home of a family prepared to accomodate their special needs. This program organized by ACCESS services provides outdoor excursions for at risk teens aged 12-16 years. Trips are taken to the Pocono mountains and involve survival skills, problem solving, teambuilding and teamwork.
