The Allentown Park Hotel invites local artists to participate in a mural competition inspired by the history of Allentown as a theme. And we are giving them the Allentown Park Hotel as their canvas! These murals will allow the story and diversity of Allentown to unfold and come alive through art. Our goal is to bring the community together and inspire community pride, attract tourists and promote local talent by opening up conversations through art. The community will have the opportunity to participate in a Community Celebration Party at the Allentown Park Hotel, on Saturday, April 28, 2018, the last day of painting, and visitors will have the opportunity to vote on Facebook for their favorite mural. The contest will be open for online voting starting at the Community Celebration Party on Saturday, April 28 and ending at 11:59 PM on May 4, 2018.
